Credit Expiry from December 2020 clarification

I received this text earlier today:

From Three. CONTRACT CHANGE - Please note, effective from 1 December 2020, top up credit will expire after 180 days. Any unused credit will expire after this time unless another top up is applied to extend the expiration date by another 180 days. If you don't accept this change, you have the right to cancel your prepay service within 30 days of this notice without penalty on or before 23 November 2020. I'm on the Prepay Golden Sim plan, active since the O2 days, I'm assuming it is classed as a BeFree plan with regards to this post?

If so, and I refuse to accept the term changes regarding the credit expiry, can I request a refund of my existing credit? How would I arrange this?

@two Tell me, when did you last top-up or make a chargeable call/text? Your SIM will remain active for 180 days from that date 👍

Laura, Three reputation is a mess and you're not helping it here. This whole topic is about the changes Three imposed on the users in the end of the last year. And the transition was not easy, obviously. So the users were left puzzled as to what exactly should happen and when. My last usage was 12/12/2019 as you can see below. But because your CRM is tuned like a Swiss clock, my expiry was constantly moved forward without my intervention, the last date being 18/07/2021. Where is my fault here? And what is the expected lifespan of my zero credit number?
