How do I get my number reactivated by Three?

I recently switched network and got new number. I thought my old number would stay active and receive calls/texts for a while after the contract ended but it got taken off the network straight away. Is there a way to reactivate it? I would be happy to take up a pre-pay account with it and top it up. I need to be able to get any calls/texts it may receive.

@oisinnnn Hi there, can you tell me which network the old number was with? Did you give your notice to cancel with that network? If so, you'd need to contact them and see if there is a way to reactive it. 

Actually when you switched to Three there's an option to keep your number from your previous network, did you go through that process?
