Will be out of contract in a couple of months and am thinking about switching to Pre Pay. Just wondering how do I do this? Also is the switch over immediate or do you have to give a months notice to do it? Also do you keep your current sim card?
Hi @SeanMac moving to prepay is pretty easy all you'll need to do is contact one of our customer care teams once you contract has finished.
For a move to prepay you don't need to give notice you can be moved on the day of request, you'll keep your current sim card just either call 1913 or chat with our messaging team when you contracts finished.

Just another question. Can I set up an auto top up facility with a pre pay account? Does it come off your debit card or bank account details?
@SeanMac Yes you can set up a scheduled top-up via your My3 account & we'll take the top-up amount every 28 days. You can set it up using your card details. If this is your first time trying to set-up a scheduled top-up you'll need to follow the below steps first:
Log in to your My3 account
From the dashboard go to TOP UP
Enter your personal details & click continue (When you're entering your address, can you ensure not to input it all into the same field)
Choose Instant Top Up & do a manual initial top-up. At this point please note that you will need to use the same card you had previously used on the automated system 1913.
If that top-up is successful, you will then be able to set a scheduled top-up using that same card.

Hi Stacey, can you tell me how long the process is from the request to switch from bill or prepay takes? So from the request to change to how long the wait is to be pre pay. And can we top up straight away then? Will my3 settings be changed from bill to prepay so I can top up?
@Anonymous all in all the process of moving from Bill Pay to Prepay should only take a few minutes. The agent will process the change while you're chatting with them. And as for topping up yes, you'll be able to top up once the agent confirms the move is complete. Your My3 will auto update too.
