Moving to Australia and still in contract

Hi,

I’m moving to Australia mid September and I’m still in contract until January 2024. Will need to set up new phone number/phone when abroad but just wondering is it best to end the contract? And is it possible to keep my Irish number for when I return?

Hi there @Add_89628! Thanks for messaging us here. As you're still in contract, you would be liable to pay off the early termination fee if you choose to cancel the contract now before heading abroad. Once you've done that, you can move your number to a Prepay plan with us. To keep your number active so that it doesn't expire due to non-usage while you're away, you would need to make/send a call or text once a month while the number is on Prepay.
