Problem with setting up voicemail

I dialed 171 and recorded my greeting.

I dialed ##21# to enable voicemail.

When I go to my phone call forwarding settings and try to enter +353 83 3333 171 under "forward when busy" or any other option for that matter, I ger an error message "Failed to read data. Something went wrong. Check your SIM card or network connection, then try again". Mobile data is turned on, wifi is off.

Can anyone take me through the process of setting up the voicemail? Why does it have to be so complicated for God sake?!!!

@MrNDS Hi there 😊 Welcome to the Community. When you dial ##21# this sets up your voicemail for all calls. If you wish to set up your voicemail to divert calls if you're busy, not reachable or there's no answer then dial **004*your number with a 5 after the prefix#. For example, if your number was 0871234567 you'd dial **004*08751234567#.
