I've emailed a request for a SIMLOCK code twice, and talked to live support but only to receive the same automated reply."It is necessary for an authorised contact on the account linked to this device to contact Customer Care directly to progress with this request."
I provided the agent the necessary info, IMEI, make, model number and they said I'd receive an email in two days with the code. About 13 hours later, this morning, I got that same email saying an authorised contact and to contact support, which I already did and that leads me to this endless loop. I don't understand why this is so difficult.
I've received two emails today with the codes so it's not longer an issue.

RE: the unlock code email, yes we do our best to get the code to you as soon as we can, however, depending on the phone type it can take more than 2 days and those are working days, weekend and bank holidays not included !
