Planned works schedule.

Hi!

We are using the three network for a long while now. It has always been reliable. Yesterday and today has seen a major decrease in the quality of the reception available to us. Using the best position function of the supplied router we were receiving a steady 7 bar, just in the green. However, now we only recieve 1bar orange!  What has changed or can this be resolved.

Sorry ! I should have mentioned we are located in Westmeath. By the cloonagh transponder

@Add_01382 Good morning, I've searched the planned works table above and see that Westmeath and Cloonagh are mentioned. The dates you mentioned are inline with the info above. I've just double-checked the masts and see that they are being ramped-up now which can take a few hours to reach full signal. Can you restart your router to reconnect to the mast in your area?

Hello @Three_Deborah !

We have re booted, reset and monitored the reception. It's consistency is not there yet. From the three service we had, one little green bar as per thev 'best position' of the supplied router. This was without much flicker. 

At the moment the flicker from one signal strength to a lower one is quite large. 5 bars to 1bar and everywhere in between. This can occur within 20seconds !

Do you have  continued outstanding works that may resolve the flicker or when do we stand?

@Add_01382 Hello there, we were off over the weekend, we're here now though 🙂 I've taken a look and I see there are alarms on the mast in that area so the team is continuing to work there. Tell me, have you noticed any improvement since you posted on Saturday?

Hi,
I only notice that during the day the reception to our router is
consistently below where is was a week ago. In the evening time the
reception reduces way below what we we experiencing before this began. In
the evening the reception is not consistent and seems to taper off and
become inconsistent.

@Add_01382 Hi there, I'd like to help you out here and might need more info. Firstly, I've moved your post to our Broadband board. Secondly, the good news is that the planned works in Cloonagh have been completed. Lastly, in saying that there are further planned works in Westmeath and I really don't know if those masts are near your address. Can you look at the addresses over here? The reason I'm asking is that you mentioned that you connect to Cloonagh, but this might not be your main mast. Any works in your vicinity will direct traffic to the next nearest mast, which might be what you're experiencing.
