Hi all,
The title pretty much contains everything, and I’m fuming.
My sequence of events is as follows;
I need to send proof of my current address to verify my medical card status, so I intend on using a bank statement for this. I try calling my bank but it says I don’t have enough credit.
I try going into the web chat to resolve this. From my point of view, I have the €20 all you can eat data plan active, so my call should’ve been done. Apparently, the call I want to make is to a “premium number” which my plan does not cover. I was advised to top up by an amount that is less than my plan amount.
As I have a €20 plan active, I attempted to top up by €5 by my usual method. I find instead that €40 has been deducted from my account, which makes no sense, as I pressed 5 after the prompt. This deduction triggered another all you can eat plan.
I try explaining my situation, but apparently a refund of €35 cannot be issued, so I’m down a significant sum that I didn’t intend on paying, although I would be satisfied to recover it.
Off the back of the mass issue from the other day, I’m not in a good mood with this.
I am looking for advice on the best course of action?
