Balance - why not the earliest balance is used up first?

I top up every month with 20€ and use my balance to purchase apps, etc… 

3 is not deducting the amount from the oldest balance, but from the newest ones - so if I have money built up, they just simply remove 20€ from my account…

i suspect this is not a bug but an intentional terrible practice, but stand to be corrected Dear Three customer service team.
Does everyone else have this experience?

@Beab Hi there & welcome to the 3Community. I've checked with our prepay team to confirm which top-up is used first when you purchase an app & they have advised that your oldest top-up is used first. Do you have examples of when you purchased something & it was taken from your newest top-up? 

 

If you have examples can I get you to PM me them along with your number, full name, address, & date of birth for the validation of your account?

 

As you're new to the Community you'll need to increase your rank to send PMs. You can increase your rank by commenting on posts, creating new posts, & kudos/liking comments. Once you rank up you'll get a message to notify you & you'll need to log out & back into the Community & you'll be able to PM us directly.
