Hello,
I receive a text message once a week that I've been charged €2 for 200MB of data up to midnight.
The plan on my phone is 3 Essential. I don't top up my phone that often as I also use wifi in the home and rarely public wifi. So why am I being charged? I also have mobile data switched off plus location is switched off. My phone is a Sony Xperia L1. If there is a solution to this problem I greatly appreciate it.
@Dylan_07363 Hi there, thank for the details in your post. Would you mind having a look at the check list for legacy plans over here
Let me know how you get on!
How do I disable EUR2 on my phone? I only use the internet at home on WiFi and I don't need it outside.
@lipinski_95060 Hi there & welcome to the 3Community. There are two ways to stop the €2 day pass charges from occurring. The first would be to change your plan to one of our new plans which don't have the day pass included. You can check out our list of plans here. If you have any questions about the plans let me know. You can switch to one of the plans directly from your My3 account or I can also do it here for you.
The second option would be to add a data block to your account to prevent any further data usage. Let me know which option suits you better and we'll go from there 😊
I would choose the second solution for now. I use the phone occasionally to make calls and I don't need to change my current plan. Can it be removed in the future?
@lipinski_95060 Can I get you to PM me your number along with your full name, address, & date of birth for the validation of your account? I'll get the data block added then for you & yes if you choose to in the future it can be removed also.
@lipinski_95060 Thanks for the PM I've added the data block to your account now for you 😊 It can take up to 24hrs to take full effect.
