Internet is suddenly disappear today

We are in the north of Dunmanway area and our 20 prepaid internet were fast and fine until about noon today. It suddenly shut off for both of our sims. From fast internet to zero internet, no signal shown if it's 3G or LTE.

It's evening at the moment and LTE sign shows up on our phone, but when we do speed test, the result is only 0.20-1 Mbps.

It can't be something wrong with our sims right? Because it went off the same time. If it's the signal problem why LTE is on, the bar is almost full but the internet is clearly not LTE speed, not even 3G... Anyone could help? Thanks.

It did. It seems that everyone experiences that (ask a random person at SuperValu). Now everything seems to be normal again.

 

Now I wonder if I can continue to ask/talk about Adult Filter while we are at it.

I'm on a working holiday for 4 months and I do not have a registered address as I work/stay in different places within the time I'm here, hence I got the prepaid sim.

1. I did send a contact form with my EU ID photo, seems like nothing happen.

2. I went to Three store and ask them to turn off the filter with my proof passport. She put my birthdate in my Three account and say it should be automatically lifted. That was over 2 days ago nothing change.

 

Could you help? I still even have my contact form reference number if you need it. Thanks.

@Pizzacopper Hi there, when did you pop into the Three store? It can take 2 working days before the adult filter is lifted. Let me know. 

Thanks for the help. I went to the store last Wednesday. The staff did not say that she "turn it off" but put my date of birth (with my proof of EU passport). She told me that it should automatically turn off the filter, but if not please contact the chat. I contacted the chat 2 days after and the chat told me that I have to send the id picture or go to the store again, but see I did both already.

@pizzacooper I get where you're coming from on that. Our messaging team are happy to help you, but after a period of time, I believe it's 2 or 3 days, the old chat is closed and a new one is open. This is probably the reason you were asked to send in photo ID. I understand it's frustrating but can you try that again? Oh and make sure you're fully registered on My3 too.

 

 

Hi, I wonder what it means fully registered on My3? could you be able to check? Does address is required? I am on working vacation for 4 months and changing places I work several time within these months, therefore I do not have register address in Ireland.

@pizzacooper I totally understand where you're coming from regarding the working holiday, and for the purpose of removing the adult filter, your My3 needs to be fully registered. It's possible to put down your own address! 

 

 Hi, I try to put my home country address, it didn’t work. It seems to be gear toward Ireland only address (no election of country, only selection of Irish County, etc.) so it stays undefined under my address in Three account. What should I do?

 

If I send the contact form with my passport picture it wouldn’t work if my address is undefined? Thanks.

@pizzacooper, thanks for trying all that. Yes, send your info on via the contact form.  In the comment section, will you pop in what you have tried to update your address ?
