Moving Abroad Without Cancelling my Plan

Hello, i am going to moving to Malta in the next weeks, as i am going to be over there only for 1year and then coming back to ireland, I was wondering if my sim and plan would be working over there as well or will my Sim Card be blocked after a certain period of time? thank you.

While you are abroad in Malta you will be able to use your phone while you are roaming and as Malta is within the EU, you will also be able to use the EU data roaming allowances on your account. If you are a Prepay customer you will need to top up your phone every 6 months and make a chargeable call or use mobile data to prevent your number from becoming dormant.
