Personal Hotspot

Hi.  How do I set up a Personal Hotspot on my iPhone 14 Plus.  Thank you.

Hey @Vanessa_40892 , Welcome to the 3Community 🙂

To activate hotspot on your phone you will need to go to Settings, and toggle on "Allow Others to Join" and this will power on the Hotspotting however as this is an Apple feature we wouldn't be able to guarantee the connection.

Thank you for your reply.  When I press “Set up Personal Hotspot” I get the message “To enable personal hotspot on this account, contact 3 Ireland.”  It doesn’t allow me to go further?

Hi dear, I have the same problem, I use eSIM, with a prepay “three super surfer” and I can’t enable the hotspot. 😞

Hi @Lucas_33840, welcome to 3Community 👋 Are you having any difficulties connecting to your mobile data, or is it just enabling the hotspot? Please keep in mind that hotspot is a phone feature and not a network feature. This means we can't promise you that it will work. If your mobile data is working, I'd suggest reaching out to the phone manufacturer because we do not have any access to alter phone features.
