Why I have to top up extra credit for MMS service on prepay?

Hi,

I'm just wondering why I can send only regular sms and not mms through my prepay allowance?

Why must I have to top another few euro in order for it to work?

Is it a money making racket or is there some technical reason for it ?

@Forest-Speyer You are correct that in order to send an MMS, you need credit, as MMS is not included in the allowances of our current plans. If you're looking for a way to send pictures without cost, most of our customers use messaging apps such as WhatsApp or Messenger, as these use your data.

Thanks for replying to me, that's handy to know, So it is possible to send mms but just not available at the moment on the prepay deal.

Do you think in the future it may become available for prepay?

Hey @Forest-Speyer, that's correct it is possible but it isn't included in any allowances so you would need credit in your balance to be able to send these messages.
