not able to receive calls or texts since moving to 3

I moved to 3 yesterday  morning ( prepay 30)and since then I have not been able to receive any calls or texts which is not ideal at all. I have spoken with the support team who really were no use at all apart from telling me to restart my phone and then to tell me they had raised a ticket with the techical department who would text me..obviously missing the point that i am unable to receive texts and to say that it could be the 19th january which is a week away..any ideas or solutions? I can make calls and send texts but noone can reply

and to make things even more confusing i can still make and receive calls with my old sim for vodafone,,so I now have 2 phones both with the same number and am able to ring the phone with the vodafone sim from the phone with the three sim? i can still get calls and texts coming into the phone with the vodafone sim but not the phone with the three sim any ideas why this is happening...and yes i know it is not *possible* to have two sims with the same number but i do.
