IMS Settings please.

My phone is a Three Ireland branded phone with a Three Ireland SIM card.

For some reason, the IMS (WIFI) settings are missing, and it will not connect to Wi-Fi calling.

This is my settings:
2025-06-05T19:08:55.458528 - notifyDataConnectionForSubscriber: phoneId=0 subId=1 state: CONNECTING, transport: WWAN, id: -1, network type: LTE, APN Setting: [ApnSetting] Three IMS, 6296, 27202, ims, , null, , null, null, 0, ims, IP, IPV4V6, true, 0, false, 20, 0, 300, 0, 0, null, , false, UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN, 0, -1, -1, false, link properties: {LinkAddresses: [ ] DnsAddresses: [ ] Domains: null MTU: 0 TcpBufferSizes: 2097152,6291456,12582912,1048576,3145728,4194304 Routes: [ ]}, fail cause: NONE(0x0)

or as readable:

Can someone with ADB please connect their phone to their computer and dump the telephone.registry (i.e)

adb shell dumpsys telephony.registry

and provide their IMS settings, which should look something like this:

2025-06-05T19:08:55.458528 - notifyDataConnectionForSubscriber: phoneId=0 subId=1 state: CONNECTING, transport: WWAN, id: -1, network type: LTE, APN Setting: [ApnSetting] Three IMS, 6296, 27202, ims, , null, , null, null, 0, ims, IP, IPV4V6, true, 0, false, 20, 0, 300, 0, 0, null, , false, UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN, 0, -1, -1, false, link properties: {LinkAddresses: [ ] DnsAddresses: [ ] Domains: null MTU: 0 TcpBufferSizes: 2097152,6291456,12582912,1048576,3145728,4194304 Routes: [ ]}, fail cause: NONE(0x0)

One can search for "Three IMS".

[Note: this should be the same for all Wi-Fi calling enabled phones and shows no personal information)

I had to add a Three IMS APN. These are the correct settings:

Hey @Joey_09620 thanks for posting your query here, what make of device are you currently using and were you able to use wifi calling previously on the device or SIM in the phone?

Samsung A32 5G.

I was with Three until September 2024. WiFi calling was was working then. I switched to Sky Mobile when they launched as they offered €15 per month.

Last month, I had an incredibly bad experience with their Customer Care. My phone was redirecting unanswered called to my voicemail number +353 83 5 .... and I was charged for this, even though it was included. I explained to the agent who insisted it was a premium number. I gave up and said I'm not supporting that and swtiched back to Three, now WiFi Calling is not working.

Also, note: When the Sky Mobile SIM card was in my phone, the WiFi calling options were hidden and were all set to -1 (in adb) or disabled.

But they are not hidden and are active with the Three SIM card. I've checked the settings and they're all on for WiFi Calling and WiFi preferred.

Thanks @Joey_09620, considering you have been switching between networks on your phone it sounds like you may need to reset the network settings on the device to allow this to work for you. Can you try the following and check if this works:

Open Settings:
Go to Connections:
Select Mobile networks: .
Access Point Names:
Reset to Default: Look for a menu (usually three dots or a similar icon) in the Access Point Names section. Tap it and select "Reset to default".
The phone may prompt you to confirm the reset. Tap "Yes" or "Reset" to proceed.
Then reboot the device and test this again

Didn't work, still no WiFi calling. It's enabled in the phone settings.

Thanks @Joey_09620, now that everything is set up on the device can you try rebooting the device again and then try making a call to see if this automatically switched to wifi calling once the call is made?

I rebooted, same. Calls are only using cellular.

Thanks @Joey_09620 I'd love to have a look at the account and check everything has been set up correctly, pop through to us here on PM along with your full name, mobile number, address and date of birth so I can investigate this further.

So, it's just after 1am now and the WiFi calling is working now. However, my credit also ran out about an hour ago. I'm not topping up until Tuesday. But I think it would be pretty pointless to only have WiFi calling when I'm out of credit.

I had to add a Three IMS APN. These are the correct settings:
