At 5.08 yesterday evening there was a collective cheer let out from many households in Limerick city and county. Shortly after; car horns, fog horns, flutes, tin whistles, and who knows what else were sounded. A cacophonic celebration of sorts, because you know, COVID-19.
For those of you who are non-sporty, I’d like to let you know that Limerick won the All Ireland Senior Hurling Championships title at Croke Park. Well done to all involved in achieving this tremendous 2nd win in 3 years

Does any of the 3Community follow sports? What’s your opinion on sporting events being held “behind closed doors”? While I do love a match from time to time, my thing is gigs at 3Arena and I can’t wait for a few rescheduled gigs next year.
