Received an email in Community from 3

Hi, 

 

I received a an email advising that I had a private message in the 3Community 

 

Subject line is: Happy New Year from 3Community: Three+ Winners 2024 and Pre-Order Samsung S25!

Sender: Three_Alex

 

When I use the link it gives an access denied notice and I cannot see anything in my private messages. Can you please help?

I got the same message but was able to read it in my private messages.

I didn't click the link in the email. I just logged into the community normally and was able to access the Private Messages section

I think it might be spam. I received it under an old email address which is not associated with a three phone or number, so I obviously couldn't login. They get more sophisticated all the time.

Its not spam - its beem sent to members of the 3 Community so it was sent to the email address that is linked to your account on the Community

Well, thanks for that. The email address it was sent to hasn’t been used on three for over 2 years, and I cancelled the account a long while ago, so now I’m concerned that three are holding email addresses beyond the time they should be for GDPR purposes. Further investigation may be required. 

@G_will & @ScubaSteve I've updated your settings and you should have access to PMs. 

 

@TheQ47 This is a weird one. I'd be happy to look into this for you and make any updates needed including cancelling your Community account please pop me a PM and I'll have a look at this for you.
