Hey Niall,

I won a competition in December 2022, where I received a Sketchers gift voucher. I gifted it to a friend and we finally tried to use it last week to only discover it has a 6 month expiry date on it. The shop assistant also said they hasn't seen that type of voucher in many years. Unfortunately, they couldn't accept the voucher.

I don't want to come across as ungrateful (we both should have checked the expiry date), but is it not a legal requirement that all gift vouchers in Ireland should be valid for 5 years?

If you could provide any feedback it would be greatly appreciated.

I got a phone call to say I'd won something but the person calling wouldn't speak to me as my phone is in my husbands name. our address on the account also needs updating aswell  he tried to add me to the account and ask in store for help contacting yourselves regarding the 3 plus winning but they were zero help
