Email Server Addresses

Please I have no problemm receiving emails from my eircom.net address but cannot send using iPhone 4s.  I hve tried the following as outgoing mail servers and none work.

smtp.O2.ie;

mail1.eircom.net; 

mail-relay.3ireland.ie

Any suggestions??, thanks

Hi Liam, are you sending the emails over a wifi connection or using your mobile data connection?

Hi, if you were sending them via wifi (your broadband provider) the servers would be different. If you were using the data via the sim card and sending from your phone.

Morning Liam,
If receiving emails this means the incoming mail server is set up correctly so the outgoing (when sending from the sim data allowance) needs to be set to the network provider. Can you please try the smtp.o2.ie again all in lower case & making sure the o2 part is the letter O & not a zero. Thanks, Kate.

Hi Kate, tried this.....getting the following message....'The SMTP server "smtp.o2.ie" is not responding.   Check your network connection.......etc'

Can you try webmail.eircom.net as your outgoing server.

Thanks Liam, after you make the changes can you turn your phone off and on.

Let me know if it persists.
