Need new micro sim activated

Just got new micro sim in the post for an iphone4. Need to have sim card activated.

how long does this usually take, is there no form of automated service to do this?

I think it's more or less instantaneous, but O2 staff have to do this for you. Try calling Customer Care

The other day I was talking to Lisa a community manager and she was unable to activate a 02 micro sim. This morning I went back to the store and saw the manager, I showed him the sim pack I was given and he told me that it wasn't a micro sim pack but a regular sim. He gave me a new micro sim pack this morning and I'd like to have it activated. I want to be able to attach my mums o2 number to this sim so my mother can use on her new iphone.

Hi,

I just got a microsim for my new iphone which I tried to activate by calling customer services.  The lady there said she had done it but when I put the sim in the phone I am getting no service.

Do I just have to wait for a while for it to activate?  I synced the phone tp itunes with the new sim in (I had been using another sim as a temporary measure).  When I turn the phone on it tells me I have a locked sim which I have to unlock with the password on the microsim pack.

We heard earlier that there is a delay in provisioning to so that could the the problem here.
