Error when connecting Apple Watch to three mobile service

When I attempt to connect my Apple Watch to my iPhone using the watch app on phone, I receive the below error.


how do I resolve this? I have the smart watch add on added to my package. I went into the shop last week to have this set up specifically. I was told it was all good to go so, disappointing now I can’t seem to connect .

If you do that you’ll be the second person on this community chat who has not been able to get the watch add on working who has given up! It really isn’t good enough and 3 should stop selling it until they can get it to work consistently. Do let us know if they kick up a fuss with you cancelling the bill pay contract…I am hanging in for a couple more days…

Hey @James_57538 and @Jwrbs, I can understand the frustrations with this and I can assure you that I am continuously working to get this working for you both and once again I apologise for the delays. Both cases remain open as I want to get this working for you both. Once the team have this fixed I will be contacting you both directly to make sure it is working for you. 

 

So as I said in PM this finally seems to be working for me - following something your team did at the back end and then I unpaired and repaired the watch (which I had done previously and it didn’t work) do combination of 2 seemed to do it. But 2 weeks to resolve this was painfully slow - and something that shouldn’t be happening in the first place. Would suggest that anyone who does have a similar problem raises it through this forum - rather than with the normal chat route - wasted inordinate amount of time with them going through the rote menu of how to connect etc etc..

Hey @Jwrbs , thanks for confirming that this is working for you and we always aim to help with customers queries as soon as possible but I can completely understand how frustrating this has been for you. 

 

For anyone else who has a query about their smartwatch you can always contact us on PM along with your details to help us investigate the query. 

Can you make calls and send texts independent of your phone?

 

They’ve managed to get mine connected but all calls and texts fail from the watch, unless my phone is turned on.

Yes all seems to work independent of phone.
