Adding a roaming pass for my wife

Hi,

wife is travelling outside EU soon, a 7 day roaming pass for data seems like the best option for her. So the questions are:

- how do I buy it for her number and not for my own (both numbers in same account).

- how do I make sure the 7 days start on the day of our choosing, not when purchased.

Hi @Alfonso, I'd be happy to help you with this. This can be done online through your My3 account if you are registered and you've added the 2nd number. Have you done this? If you have all you need to do is log in and switch between the accounts, how you do this is login to the app and go to 'Menu' (bottom right), ' Manage Profile', enter your login details and click 'Manage My Account' here his will allow you to switch between the two mobile number. Please check out our blog How to: Add Another Number on My3 for a step by step guide on how to do this. 

Once the add-on is applied, it automatically activates once she uses her data internationally. 

If you need help adding the add-on, I'm happy to help. However, for me to access the number, it will need to be registered to you. If the number is in your wife's name, please ask her to contact us here, or if it's more convenient, click here to chat with our messaging team.

Thanks for your reply. I can purchase the addon for my wife using the website, I can see this now. I tried earlier but it was showing my number, I must have forgotten to switch to her account.

So the 7 days start when she starts using the data abroad and not before? That's great. Thank you.

Hi, I am going to the US next week (I currently live in Ireland). I am on a Bill Pay Plan with a locked phone. I have the offer of the same 7-day Roaming Pass. If I add it on, will the 7 days start only when I start using roaming in the US?

I am in the US for 10 Days: Can I add on the 3-Day Roaming Pass once my 7-Day pass is up?

Hey @MarkFitzgibbon , thanks for posting here, you can purchase one of the Day passes before you leave Ireland and the add on will then activate once you connect to a network in the US but this needs to be mobile data instead of Wifi to activate the add on. Once the add on has expired then you will be able to activate a new add on.
