Call Waiting not working

Hi,

When I try to turn on call waiting on my iphone, an error message comes up "Could not save call waiting setting".

I understand this is a network issue.

Can you please assist?

Hey @David_01586 , thanks for messaging us here, I'd be happy to look into this for you, can I ask where you were told that this was a network issue and I can check this for you?

When the second call is incoming while you are on a call, is this automatically being redirected to voicemail as the Call Waiting would be a device feature.

Apple support said call waiting would be a network issue where it cannot be toggled to on.

When a second call comes in, they just get an engaged tone. They are not diverted to voicemail.

The call does not appear on my phone as incoming so I have no awareness of a second call when already on an existing call and have no option to put current call on hold.
