Hi, I joined Three, one month ago. I agreed to the 35 euro month plan!
At the end of the month I was charged 45 euro!!! After speaking to an agent, I was told this was due to a change of line charge because I was previously with Vodafone! And I was reassured that this won’t happen again on the next bill!
This month, I was again charged 45??? I have unlimited data, unlimited minutes and I don’t text as I use social media! When I looked at the bill it said the extra charge is due to VAT!
Is it not illegal to mislead customers into thinking they are signing up for a 35 euro plan when you are going to overcharge? If this is not resolved, I will be changing my sim and join another network! Absolute rip off!!!
I should have stayed with Vodafone as I never ever had an issue with them and I was with them years!!!!

Tell me, which price plan did you sign up for? 3 Bill Pay 100 is €35 per month and 3 Bill Pay 300 is €45 per month. Once I know this we can go from there 👌

@Stephnanie_08118 Could you possibly have gone over your inclusive minutes or texts? Did you make any international or premium calls by any chance? When you view your bill on My3 can you see the extra charge there?
Laur, if you read my above statement you would already know this as I already explained it all.
The 35euro plan has 100 minutes and unlimited texts. The data plan is also unlimited. I don’t make international calls.
When looking at the bill it says the extra charge is due to VAT. Please read my above statement again before asking more questions.
@Stephnanie_08118 3 Bill Pay 100 is €35 inclusive of VAT and includes unlimited three to three calls, 100 minutes/texts and All You Can Eat data. I'm trying to determine where the extra charge has come from. Yes, that’s the plan I signed up for and I didn’t go over anything! I only use the data! I enquired last month and I was told on the chat inside the app it was due to line rental from switching from Vodafone but yet I’m charged the same again this month! I will pm now!
@Stephnanie_08118 Thanks for your PM. I have checked the account here for you and I can see that you have gone over the 100 minutes / texts on your plan and you were charged at an out of bundle rate. VAT would be included on both the price plan and the out of bundle charges however the extra charges on the plan are for going over the 100 minutes / texts on the plan. When I look at the app it says I have 54% remaining on minutes and texts so how did I go over? Also I didn’t text and I only made 1-2 minute calls so that doesn’t make any sense? I wasn’t spending excessive amounts of time on any calls?
@Stephnanie_08118 The remaining allowances on your My3 account would be for the current billing cycle. The additional charges that you are seeing on your current bill would be for the out of bundle charges for the last billing cycle.
