Phone upgrade contract extension

HI, If I upgrade my phone how long is my contact extended for? 12 or 24 months?

I'm on 3 Flex mini.

That was a 24 month contract.

This contract ended a few months ago.

I'm interested in upgrading to iPhone SE any keeping my 3 Flex Mini.

I just cant tell if it will be another 24 month contract or 12 month contract if I upgrade.

I wouldnt be interested in a 24 month contract.

Can you tell me if it would 12 or 24 months?
