My contract ends next month i was thinking about moving to prepay can i keep my current phone and number and do i have to give notice.also if i switch to prepay do i cancel the direct debit for my bill pay phone
Hey @Devitt, thanks for posting here and I'll be happy to explain all this for you.
When you are moving from Bill Pay to Prepay you don't need to provide notice. Once your contract has ended you can contact our Web Chat Team Here and they will be able to switch you over to your requested Prepay plan.
As for the direct debit, once your number is moved from Bill Pay to Prepay your Bill Pay account will automatically be closed. Once the account is closed you will receive your final bill on the next billing cycle date and this final bill would be taken from the direct debit available on the account.
Hi niall and when the final payment is taken do i then cancel the direct debit
@Devitt after the final direct debit has been processed the direct debit would then be cancelled on the account in the background for you so you won't need to contact us to cancel it.
