porting errro for several weeks

I have been trying to port my number from virgin media to three for several weeks.   I understand that the issue was a technical issue and a global ticket ref number 85407 was raised.    Today I messaged support who asked me to raise the port request again .  However the number has not been ported and I am afraid that the technical issue has not been resolved

 

Can someone please look into the specific issue on my account and the technical problem with ticket 85407

@steven_06853 very sorry to hear that you are having difficulty porting your number. That ticket ref number, is it from Virgin Media or is it from Three? Does your Virgin Media number still work? Are you using the temporary number from Three at the moment? 

 

 

Hi Deborah. That was a global ticket raised by three as several customers had an issue porting due to an insurance issue. I spoke to Three service on Saturday and they said the issue was fixed. I raised a new porting request Saturday morning at 10am but my number is still showing as 083

@steven_06853 thanks for the info. I'm guessing you received a porting code to both your numbers and confirmed them. Have you received any text saying the port failed? 

 

 

Hi Deborah.  Yes when I put the port request through I received the code to the old number 087 and the new number 083.   Then I pinged support after 4 hours and they said the request is with virgin media.   No message to say its failed was sent to my 083 number and my number is still showing 083

@steven_06853 have you contacted Virgin Media about releasing your number? I'm asking because usually it's all done in the background, and all porting channels are open today. 

 

 

Hi Deborah.  I just rang Three and they told me that the from and to number was incorrectly entered. Both numbers were entered with the same number for the porting

 

 

@steven_06853 this must be very frustrating for you. When you rang 1913, was the port resubmitted for you?

 

1913 said they resubmitted 17:10 Monday. Still no port

@steven_06853 can you send me a PM with your full details? > Name, the number you want to keep, the temporary Three number, your address and date of birth? 

 

I'd like to take a look at your account and check if there is an open investigation.
