Hi
I received 2 calls and clicked link to listen to voicemail to listen the phone said suspected scam.
I then checked and I have received 3 this week
With different numbers for voicemail all fro. Three.
17101
17100 and 17102 were the numbers to call.
Should I be concerned?
Hey @hphone , Welcome to the 3Community 🙂
I'll be happy to explain this to you, firstly there is no need to be concerned that the voicemail numbers are 17101, 17102 etc. 171 is the number for voicemail and the last 2 digits are the location of the voicemail. For example, if you receive an SMS that you have a voicemail and you need to call 17105 to listen to the voicemail you have two options. You can call the 17105 number to go directly to this voicemail or you can call 171 and go through the menus to hear all the messages.
Hi can I ask about a potential scam call please?
Just received a call from +353 83 1434169 claiming to be from Three Network telling me they want to save me 40% on my phone bill. They asked how much I had paid on my last bill, I said I couldn't remember so they sent me a text (received under my other/usual Three text messages) verification code to continue so they could access my details. I had recently been to the UK and did receive a text link re a roaming survey. Is this a scam?
