Ticketmaster email to access tickets won

I received an email from Ticketmaster stating that I have won tickets for westlife through the three + competition, I am just wondering if this is a scam or is this how I am being contacted to advise I have won tickets?

So did I, think it’s a scam. Click on a link and enter a pw! Don’t think it’s wise to do so.

Hey @Add_29064 & @Ginger26 thanks for posting here, these emails would be a scam as Three+ competition winners would collect the tickets at the event and wouldn't be sent via Ticketmaster.

I know someone who claimed these tickets, is there any way to check the validity? They are appearing in their Ticketmaster account as a future event.

@Karen_44209 if someone has claimed tickets via Ticketmaster I would recommend contacting our web messaging team here or popping through to me here on PM and we can check if they were a competition winner.

@Add_29064 & @Karen_44209 thanks for the PM's that you have sent me, I have checked this with the team and they have confirmed that for the Westlife competition these have been sent via Ticketmaster instead so once you have claimed them and they are in your Ticketmaster account you will be able to use them on the night.
