5g router query

Just wondering does the 5G cpe Pro router support A external antenna ? I already have a 4g, 5g ready antenna installed on my roof. If I was to upgrade to 5g would it still be possible to use this or would I require to use a different router to support a external antenna.

@Kw123 Hello there and welcome to 3Community 👋 It's great to hear that you're thinking of upgrading to 5G. Have you checked the coverage checker for your area? As 3 don't supply external antennas I can't say if yours will or won't work, you may not need it though 😁

That's understandable, Does the router provided support external antennas ? if so what connection type such as sma or ts9 and from there I can do more research on wither it would be usable for your network. Thanks

Good morning @Kw123 hope you had a nice weekend 😊 I'd love to help you here but I can't, you see we don't support external antennas. Although, I've seen that there are some members here who do use antennas with our routers.

Using the search option, have a look for topics that include external antennas. Might be the best place to start 👍
