Can we put T3000 router into bridge mode or remove it?

Can we put T3000 router into bridge mode or remove it?

We’re planning to overhaul our whole network setup, and before the networking lad comes over, he asked us to check if our ISP or current broadband gear supports bridge mode or can be removed.

We’re currently on 3Business Broadband Advanced, with the MC7010 outside and the T3000 router inside. Can the T3000 be put into bridge or pass-through mode or removed at all?

Second question;

We’ve also found out recently that 3Business Fibre Broadband (NBI) is now available in our area, so we might upgrade soon. I’ve Sky fibre at home myself, and there’s an ONT box where you can plug in your own router. Would it be the same setup with Three, since it’s the same NBI network? Any info on configuration or authentication details, VLAN tags, that kind of thing would be really appreciated.

Thanks a million.

Hey @CallMeCurious thanks for posting here.

I have checked this here for you and I believe that you can put the T3000 into bridge mode however I would recommend contacting our dedicated broadband team on 1913 who would be able to confirm this for you and provide you with the steps to do this on the routers UI if possible.

With the second question, yes it's the same setup with ONT box, you can choose to use your own router, and then our dedicated broadband team would be able to help with the necessary configurations.
