We have a router that can accept a SIM card, which can be used as a failover in the case where the main wired ethernet line goes down or has limited bandwidth. Am I able to use the data plan of a regular phone sim or do i need a data sim? The cost of the data sims seem to be way higher.
Hey @Michael_13576 , Welcome to the 3Community 🙂
When you purchase a Three SIM this will be a Trio SIM which you can break down to match the SIM card size compatible with your device. While both mobile phone and broadband plans both come with the ability to use data in your broadband device I would recommend using the broadband plans for the best results.
