The broadband service in Ballydehob has been really bad since end of last week.
Router showing all three lights but only getting between 7 and 20 mbps whereas it's normally 100 to 120.
What is the problem?
4g
5g
Hi there, I'd love to look into this further for you, pop through to us here on PM along with your full name, mobile number, address and date of birth so I can check this out for you.
It's me AGAIN. Its anther Bank Holiday and surprise surprise the 5g and 4g and super slow, dropping connectivity and I am only able to connect with 3g.
Please don't ask me to check account as it is all in order. This problem only happens at the busy holiday periods in West Cork as there is an influx of people into the area. I would like to know, actually I am requesting ONCE AGAIN, the contention ratio your mobile phone broadband packages. This is now obviously a problem when your infrastructure cannot handle the amount of connecting users. I will be requesting ComReg to investigate this now and my repeated attempts to have this issue corrected. I am publicly posting this and request 3 posts a public reply to this query as they're are other 3 users in the area who are affected by this.
5g- upload speed at this evenings best result
4g
3g
Hey @WestCorkBetty, I'll be happy to respond to you publicly, based on the information provided previously I have checked the masts in the area and I am able to confirm that they are up and running but I wouldn't be able to advise of the contention rate in the area. As you receive coverage through a radio-based signal, there's no constant set speed that you can get & your speeds are likely to fluctuate depending on a number of factors. I understand that you would prefer not to speak on this privately and are looking to make a complaint to Comreg however if you are looking to raise a complaint with Three also I would recommend filling in the form here and our complaints team will reply to you via email https://www.three.ie/contact-us/contact/
It's Easter in West Cork 😡 Yesterday I was getting 125mbps and on Good Friday this
5g no signal. 4g intermittent. 3g slow. Yup it's Easter and we have bad download speeds and no upload speeds again at peak season. Has been fine most of the week until there are alot of people in the area. So 3, can you answer the question, does an influx of alot of people for holiday season affect our upload and download speeds because of more usage, because it's obvious to me and others now that your network can't handle the increase in users in the area at peak holiday times.
5g can't open test or run it even.
