New APN is causing connection cuts and slower speeds for me

I was trying to fix NAT 3 issues for gaming and while I was given a fix via an APN change by an agent to get to NAT 2 on the console - this has caused the following: 1. downloads halt after 2GB of data downloaded on console, 2. Laptops intermittently get disconnected from the internet while working from home, 3. our streaming services now buffer to the point that things go down to 480p.  None of these issues happened before the APN change. I believe after 2gb or so of data is transmitted through hi-res streaming or videocalls, it triggers the same cut in quality and download as attempting to download things to console.

While NAT 2 is the best option for gaming, this APN fix seems to render the net all but useless for streaming and working from home. I'd like to get another agent to look at this to give it a fresh perspective. Thanks, I appreciate it!

I too am giving 14 days for my service to be fixed to the advertised standards. I want to stream, game and work from home successfully and I've had these issues for Months.

I believe this consumer protection body can help too if they don't escalate and fix it for us this in the next week.

Hey @Anthony_71376 and @Nat3onthree , if you are looking to request to place a cancellation on the account you would need to call 1913 to request a 30 days cancellation notice however if you are currently in contract an early termination fee may be applied to the account.

I have checked here and I can confirm that there isn't a network block that would be stopping the downloads query however pop through to me here along with your details and a timestamp of the issue and I'll be happy to raise this with the technical team to have this investigated and check if they can see an issue on the network end.

Again tonight trying to stream netflix and comes to a complete stop

Hey @Anthony_71376 , thanks for the above screenshot, on the above screen can you check the "Set Data Plan" button and make sure there isn't a limit on the device? If this doesn't work pop through to me here on PM along with your full name, broadband number, address and date of birth so I can check the account here for you.

Hi Anthony. We left the service in the end. All the best.
