€15 Top-Up made yesterday is now zero

I did a €15 top up yesterday through AIB and my account had a €15 balance. Today I get a text saying my balance was low. I checked and see I have a balance of zero. There is always some problem with your billing service or website which I have grown to despise.

 

where is my €15?  Put it back.

Hi there @rcox1963 I'll have a look at this for you.

 

Is your Prepay plan currently active? If it's more than 28 days since your plan was activated then the €15 may have been used on any call, text or data usage.  Have you had a look a your usage in your My3 account? You can find this by logging in and clicking My3 Account and Detailed Usage.

 

 

I came up with a better solution.

 

I ordered SIM cards from Virgin Mobile, set up a monthly €20 pay as you go plan with direct debit and get unlimited calls, text and data without having to decipher your hieroglyphical billing system or deal with your incomprehensible phone support or your buggy app and website. Really, you guys are one of the worst companies I have had the misfortune to deal with. I am amazed you remain in business.

 

I did call support BTW, as usual the call was disconnected (by 3) during the call but before that happened I was told that because 3 gave me a one-month credit for your screw up in September my auto-top up was cancelled (without telling me) so yes the €15 I added was basically stolen by 3.

 

At this point I no longer care, it is not worth attempting to get back the €15 and whatever balance is on my wife’s account. Keep the €25-30. It is a price I am willing to pay to get away from such a lousy company.

Hi Stacy, I can't find the 'Detailed Usage' section. I have been using up my credit very quickly for the last few months and cannot review how. Can you help please?

Delighted to help you with this, when you are on the home screen on either My3 online or the My3 app you will need to select the My3 Account option and then on the next screen select the "Detailed Usage" tab.

 

Once you are on this screen you can then switch between the Calls, Texts and Data tabs to view your usage.
