Hello I was on prepay 20 plan for years since I bought my line. I was topping up 20 euro monthly for all you can eat data and three to three calls, and I was able to use the €20 credit to buy movies or games in play store.
I recently changed plan to new prepay 20 to be able to use 5g as my old one did not have 5G add on or anything like that. After changing the plan I learned in hard way that I would no longer have the €20 credit in my balance to use it for games. I feel extremely cheated by three, My wife was also cheated by phone call support staff. MY wife was called by three and offered to switch to a new three 20 plan to have unlimeted calls to any network instead of only three to three , but he never mention that she will no longer keep the 20 euros credit, I think three staff is calling everyone and trying to make them make the switch so they will use this 20 euro credit allowance to spend on play store etc.
So advise your friends not to make the switch IF they are using 20 euro for other things.
