Cannot receive texts on Irish sim when abroad

Hi,
For the last while I have been unable to receive texts on my Irish sim. I can receive calls however. I'm currently abroad. Can you advise how I fix this? Is this a common thing?

Currently in the Philippines on the globe network. I'm using a Samsung a71. But I've tried my sim in other phones also and none will work for texts.

Are you having trouble sending messages or is it just receiving them? What other phones have you tried? Are you with anyone else who is on the Three network experiencing the same? 

Just receiving texts. I can send texts, I can make and receive calls. Just can't receive texts which is a pretty big deal when you need to receive banking SMS etc
It used to work just fine, but a week ago it stopped. I've tried on my Samsung and an oppo. My oppo is my old phone and it worked fine on that before. It also worked on my Samsung before but not now on both phones. No, no one else I know here is on the three network but from searching on here I can see this is a very common and big problem.

@Maldini sorry for all the questions but I just need to clarify are you having trouble with receiving all texts or just receiving verification texts from your bank for example?

I'm having trouble with all texts, banks, friends etc. The only texts that get through are from 3 itself about gigs, offers etc

@Maldini, has there been any change over the weekend? Is there on open investigation for you? Let me know

I opened a case on it and was told it would be fixed by yesterday but it's not fixed. They've been looking at it for a week but I don't think they have any idea why it's not working. I note I'm not the only one suffering with this issue. Seems to be quite common which is amazing really. I hope it gets sorted soon or I'm definitely changing networks.

@Maldini, I appreciate your honesty and yes, I've also noted that other members of 3Community have experienced this too. I have gathered examples and then the verification codes start working again.  It can take 5 to 10 working days to work through an open investigation. Have you contacted the area where you first logged this?
