Prepay Hero has no boosters available

Hello,

 

I purchased a 3 Prepay Hero SIM card, and while registering I was able to get a booster from the start, which is working. However, when I want to add another one, the "Manage Services" part on My3 is empty, and I cannot either manage active boosters, or add a new booster.

Is this intended, or is this a bug?

@Rafalk Hi there, with the Hero plan there are some boosters that are available for you to add to your account. What new booster are you looking to add? What is the booster you currently have on your account? Can you try to add a booster via the My3 app using the below steps & let me know if your still not seeing any boosters?

- Log in to the My3 app
- Click ‘Add-ons’ on the bottom navigation bar
- Tap ‘Add’ to select the booster you want
- Click ‘Continue’ and you’re done!

 

Pop back to me here once you've checked on the above & we'll go from there.

 

There is no "Add-ons" button in the bottom navbar 😕

The current booster I have is intl minutes, and I am looking to add intl texts too.

What's the make & model of your phone? Can you send me a screenshot of what options are showing on the nav bar so I can check why it's not showing for you? I'll also need you to check you have the latest version of My3 in your app store.

 

I'll be able to add that add-on for you but first I want to help get this sorted for you.

@Rafalk thanks for that. Can I get you to PM me your full name, number, address, & date of birth for the validation of your account? I'll check on your My3 access to make sure it's up to date. 

@Rafalk Thanks for the PM, Rafal. I've checked on the boosters available & the only international booster we have for our prepay accounts is the international minutes one you have already activated.

 

Looking at your My3 account it's all set up correctly but just to make sure when you're in the 'Manage Services' section do you have tabs for different categories such as 'Reading' 'Roaming' & 'Data'?

This is what I see.

Regarding the booster - I was told that in order to text people in the EU I need an intl texts booster that I can get in the manage services tab at a Three store. At the moment, I can't text my family from my phone.

@Rafalk You don't need a booster active on your account to send international texts. All that's required is credit on your account. Check out this link for the charges for texting internationally. The international rates are on page 7. 

 

From the screenshot you sent in your last message lower down the page do you see the writing 'Show subscription details' and below that 'You might also be interested in'? 

 

That is really odd, as I had quite a bit of trouble with texts to my family in Poland, many texts that they would send me would never get delivered to me, and only about 50% of mine would get delivered to them, despite the status being "sent" in both cases.
