Hi, does anyone else have problems using webtext from a computer?
I'm in Ireland and it hasn't worked for some time now here.
I have a ticket logged with online chat, but they tell me that no-one else is experiencing any issues.
I find that hard to believe because it does not work for me on any computer, anywhere and hasn't for some time now. It can't just be singling me out for bad treatment!
The error message I get is: "Message to +353.........) failed to be sent"
Anyone else?
Got to the bottom of the issue...
Three have obviously changed what they allow in terms of international numbers for the Webtext app. They used to allow 00353.... for Ireland for example and 0044... for UK mobiles.
I have many, many numbers entered as contacts in this format and have sent many, many webtexts to them over the years. It must've changed recently and Three forgot to tell us! These numbers won't work anymore, but numbers you have entered in your contacts as 087 or 086 are grand. But, if you have them entered as 00353 you will have to change them to +353 or +44 etc... for them to work.
I have tested this out and this definitely works for me.

Hi there @alanmccormack are you still having difficulties with your webtexts? I just tested mine and they are sending but I'd be happy to check on the ticket that was logged for you. I'll just need you to pop me a PM with your name, number, full address and date of birth. Once I have these I'll be able to pull up your account and have a look at the tickets progress,
Hi Three_Stacey,
Are you logging into Webtext in Ireland? Because mine is very definitely still down.
I just tried my personal computer and also on my work laptop, and to different recipients. It's very definitely still down. The error message is: Message to +3538............ failed to be sent
It's been down for about a week that I know of and I have two tickets logged with the Three online chat people - who keep telling me that it's working for them - which isn't helpful.
I hope that you get it fixed, because it must be down for other people too.
I'll send you a PM now.

@Three_Stacey PM sent. Thanks
Hi there @alanmccormack I can see that one of my colleagues has picked up your PM. I've edited your post as it contained your full mobile number; for security, it's best not to publish this publicly.
Still not resolved. What are other people experiencing with Webtext here in Ireland? Is it working for anyone?
