Winners :There will be 1 winner. The winner will be chosen by random selection and called. The first person contacted who answers the call and accepts the prize is the winner. Only one attempt to contact winner(s) will be made by Three and that will be by one phone call only to the contact number provided by entrants at point of competition entry. To be able to win the Prize, the selected entrant must answer their phone when called by Three. If the selected entrant answers the call and accepts the Prize. they will win the Prize. if the selected entrant does not answer their phone, they will not win the Prize and we will conduct a second draw to select a second entrant. The second entrant will then be able to win the Prize in the manner described in these terms. That process will be repeated until a selected entrant answers their phone accepts the Prize.
Seen the above on a good few competitions on Three+ that only one attempt will be made to contact you if you are lucky enough to win or you lose the prize!!!
This is grossly unfair as loads of people could be busy doing all sorts of things like working!
For example I am my dad's carer and wouldn't have the chance to answer a call alot of the time.
Surely there should be multiple attempts made or you can leave a voicemail if a person is too busy to.answer!
@ThePatriarch thank you very much for your feedback and I'm sorry for the delay on getting it published.
This is a great point and very true.
There are also so many scam calls these days I don't answer the phone to any numbers I don't know, and I know many people doing the same. This means many more may be missing out due to the same.
Is there a specific number Three would be calling from or how would people know the number is safe to answer from?
Hey @Rnm , Welcome to the 3Community 🙂
If you are looking for the list of numbers, we have listed these in our Why is Three Contacting Me? article as the outbound loyalty team will call the lucky winners.
When will you begin ?
That is exactly my point.
Just feel it is very unfair if you miss the call you lose the prize.
