If you are stretching your Three Prepay plan to its limits, fear not! We are one step ahead of you, and we have Boosters at the ready.
What is a Booster or Add-on?
Three Prepay customers can choose to purchase more minutes, international minutes, roaming minutes, texts, data, or roaming data Boosters for a 28-day period at an additional cost. Check out our list of Boosters by clicking here.
Boosters are valid for 28 days (known as the 'Booster Period') and are either recurring or one-off. You may have noticed that some Boosters have ‘28 Day’ written in the name.
If '28 Day' is included in the Booster name, the Booster is once-off. If the Booster name does not contain '28 Day', then it is recurring.
Remember, if you have selected a recurring Booster, make sure to have enough funds in your account, as after 28-days, the Booster will auto-renew. Adding a Booster means that your 28 days of use starts from the day it is activated. If you would like to synchronise your Booster with your plan activation, make sure to top-up and have enough credit available.
Ideally, you would top-up by your plan allowance, plus the cost of your add-ons, if they have the same expiration date.
How to add/remove a Booster?
Adding a Booster is easy! To support you with any first-time jitters in adding a Booster though, we have included some screenshots below.
Log into your My3 account online or using the My3 App. Click on ‘Explore Add-ons’ and select the Booster category. Click ‘add’, choose your Booster, and then click ‘continue'. That’s it, your selected Booster is active!

1. Click on ‘EXPLORE ADD ONS’.
Step 2. Choose the add-on and click 'ADD'.
Step 3. Make sure to have sufficient funds in your account to activate the add-on. Click on 'ADD'.
Step 4. Choose 'Continue'. You are done!
To remove an add-on, simply follow the same steps up to Step 2. You will then see that the add-on now has a 'REMOVE' option, instead of 'ADD'.
What plans are Boosters applicable to?
To activate a Booster, you will need to be on one of the following plans: Three Super Surfer, Three Total Talker and Three Connect Complete. Check out the details of these plans by clicking here.
If you wish to avail of a Boosters that isn't applicable to your plan, you can change your plan via your My3 account, or contact our Customer Care team by calling 1913. A member of our team will be happy to help you change your plan!
