Is this a scam

Just got a message from 3care to say my mobile sim plan will be disabled because I did not accept new terms of service and asking me to log on to a website. I'm wondering is it genuine or a scam message

Hi, I got the same message today but realized it was a scam after clicking the link. I didn't put my personal details but I'm just wondering if I'm fine or not.

I just received one but fortunately my phone sent the sms in the spams box notifying me with a "spam detected". That why I went on Google to look for "Three Ireland scams"' and I saw your request here. I'm just thinking about people who might be fooled by these scams. Terrible

I think that Three should notify its customer they will never send that kind of sms and that they should never click on these links becauae it's a scam

Hi @Icery as you didn't enter any personal details your account should be safe. If you entered your username and password I would recommend resetting your password as soon as possible.

Hi, thank you. Thankfully I did not enter my details in there.

If in doubt never click any link. Best thing is to go directly to your Three app and check there.

@Michael_38550 that's perfect advice thanks for sharing 👍

I received a phone call today from +353(1)7266445. The caller was Mark Wood, employee ID 8011988/М. He told me that I was eligible for a 50% reduction in my bill, asked for my email address, and then asked me to provide a code sent to my email. Then, I received an email stating that my password had been changed. I reacted immediately and changed my account password. The scammer called me back and told me that my account was disabled. Be careful guys.

Hey @Guest_73663 , thanks for posting the above. I will be passing this example onto the relevant teams and in the meantime if you would like me to check the account pop through to us here on PM and I'll be happy to help.
