Unable to receive verification code texts

Hi,

I recently ported my number from eir to 3 and I’ve had trouble receiving verification code texts from websites such as boots, mygov, PayPal.I need these codes in order to log in but I am not receiving them. Does 3 block these verification code texts as they think they’re spam?

This still isn’t working for me. Has the issue been resolved. I have only transferred to 3 and I am regretting the decision

I just ported from eir to three yesterday. Can't recieve the 2fa codes and my temp three number is shown when a message is sent. Tried to get a code from bank three times I joined last Saturday

I'd be happy to help you with this but I'll need more info. Please let me know the make and model of your phone, the last time you successfully received a 2fa code, and can you please let me know the last time attempted to receive a code and who was it coming from. 

 

Having the same issue. How is this going on since 2022?? Only ported over yesterday and wishing I hadn’t. Is there a quick way to sort this?

Thanks for posting here and apologies for the inconvenience. Once you have ported your number to Three from another network it can take up to 72 hours for the full port to complete in the background and this can affect your verification SMS coming to your Three SIM. Once all the routing details have been ported over from your previous network in the background you will receive these SMS as normal.

I am having the same problem with verification codes, I suddenly stopped getting verification codes five days ago.

Not happy with this, time to switch provider if this is not sorted very soon.
