Mobile broadband West Cork.

The broadband service in Ballydehob has been really bad since end of last week.

Router showing all three lights but only getting between 7 and 20 mbps whereas it's normally 100 to 120.

What is the problem?

Hey @WestCorkBetty , thanks for the above screenshots of the speedtests, I've checked the masts in the area and I can see that they are up and running however I would love to raise this with the technical team for you. While I understand you would prefer to keep this interaction public I would need you to send us a PM to have this investigated further as I will need to take some personal information I wouldn't be able to request on a Public post.

Hi Niall, thanks for the reply. I will DM you later when I have more time. Here are the speed tests for this afternoon. Can you tell me why I have a 5G download speed of 28.2 and only an upload speed of 0.15 on 5G. What could cause this disparity. 

Similarily 4G is downloading at 5.67 mbps and an upload of only 0.06. 

Why is there a such a low upload speed f the masts are working fine? This is my main question for three.

Here are screenshots from this evenings speed test. 5g upload speed is the best it has been in weeks.4g speed is good too, 3G is slow. 

Weather is overcast. Which is strange considering the slow speeds on the clear days with high pressure. Any chance of telling me what 3s contention ration or capping policies are for the individual  bill pay plans. If I can access more bandwidth with a higher business package. Thanks

From really good this afternoon to non existent now.

It's 9.30, so is this the amount of people using the network?? What else can this be????

These set of images are speed tests outside my property. As you can see high download speeds achievable but download speed is appalling. How can 3 explain this. Any why has the mobile data signal declined inside my house since mid Summer??

It's me. I'm back again. Internet download speed in Ballydehob today are very slow, upload speed virtually non existence. No issues outside of holiday season which tells me that the three mobile network here is a. Not able to support the high usage b. contention rate issue. Which is it three. Please do not ask again for my details.i am logged in to your system and my phone and account are in proper working order.
