ZTE WiFi6 Router T3000

Hey

I recently got 5g Broadband (with the external antenna) from you. but I'm having trouble logging into the router.

the device is  ZTE WiFi6 Router T3000. On the back of the router there is a WiFi password and there is a password for connecting to the router. The Password for connecting to the WiFi is fine no issues. but the password for connecting to the router does not work. i.e. go to 192.168.18.1 and password is incorrect (there is no option to enter a username its just looking for a password), I have tried a factory reset and it still does not work.

Hi there @jim_Carlow welcome to 3Community👋 I'd love to assist you with this. Let me ask when you reset the device did the lights flash? A step by step guide on how to reset the device can be found here please have a look. You posted that you were trying to log in to 192.168.18.1 please try http://192.168.0.1/index.html#login and let me know how you get on 😊

Yes.

The device i have "ZTE WiFi6 Router T3000" with External Antenna MC7010

there is no application running on 192.168.0.1 (those instruction seem to be for a different router?)

@jim_Carlow apologies for that. The admin page should display for you by entering either of the IP URLs, if it's not showing the page or as you detailed the password is not being accepted, I would suggest contacting our dedicated fixed line team by calling freephone 1800800002. They'll be able to check your account to make sure it's set-up correctly and also help with any queries you have.

hi, did you get this fixed? i have the same problem. it would probably be better to just buy a new router and ditch the 3 supplied one.

I have exactly the same problem. Same system installed today but I can't access the T3000 web UI (http://192.168.18.1) using the password on the base of the router. Very poor start. Did you get this resolved?

Hey @UnusedUser, Welcome to the 3Community 🙂

When you are trying to access the UI can you try using http://192.168.18.1/index.html#login  as the URL rather than typing in the URL you have provided above to check if this works for you?

Thanks, Three_Niall,

That address just times out

The original URL shows this page with no option for user name:

Entering the supplied password does not work.

What next?

Thanks

Bad start has now gone even further downhill. The box outside is showing all green lights but the ZTE router stopped working and now shows only a red light. I would have expected it to work for longer than 48 hours. Can't even log into the router dashboard to see what is happening, Will be cancelling this tomorrow. Extremely disappointing.

Hey @UnusedUser, if you are facing the issue of the device not working this morning I would recommend contacting 1913 where our team can investigate the connection further with you.

With the password can you make sure you are using the Password for the device and not the Wi-Fi key that you would use to connect normally for the wifi connection.
