Hi
5G coverage has been out for at least a week in the Rathdrum area. I have received no notification of this outage or when service will be restored.
Please confirm when 5G service will be restored. The current 4G+ reduced service is not fit for purpose. Speeds of less than 5Mbps are routine and unacceptable.
Thanks
Hi All
5G is back up and running again. Whatever the problem was with the cell, it's now fixed. Thank you al for your help.

Welcome to 3Community @Kealan_86801 sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with your service this is not what we like to hear.
I do know that there is work planned in the area, you can see this confirmed here on our Planned Works Schedule blog. Hopefully when the work is complete your service will be up and running.
Thank you Stacey. I can't believe I didn't check the planned works blog. Seems so obvious now. Must check that every day going forward until I'm able to cancel my contract,
So the works in Rathdrum (scheduled for 29th July) have disappeared off the planned works blog, it's the 1st of August and I still have no 5G coverage.
Why?
Hey @Kealan_86801, I'd be happy to clarify this for you, the above article is updated weekly to include the planned works for the next 7 days. I have checked the masts in the Rathdrum area and I can see that the Planned works in the area have been completed and the service has been restored in your area. If you are not receiving 5G where you were receiving it previously I would recommend restarting your device.
Hi Niall
I have restarted my router numerous times and again just after receiving your message. I still am only getting 4G and to check, I set the network selection to manual and this is the list of available networks my unit is picking up. No 5G networks in range. Previous to this, I had a solid 5G network connection.
I have checked this here again and I can confirm that the 5G Service has been restored in the area but as this continuing to happen to you I would recommend reporting this to customer care who can investigate this further for you,
Thanks Niall
How exactly to I report to customer care? All support links on your website point to either FAQs or here.

Sorry for the confusion @Kealan_86801 if you're still experiencing difficulties what you need to do is call 1913, and enter your broadband number when prompted. This will take you straight through to a dedicated 5G broadband team.
Thanks Stacey
I reported the issue and an engineer called to me today. He confirmed that the cell in Rathdrum is still down and the issue is not at my end.
I am now approximately three weeks without 5G service. If I was three weeks overdue payment, would you be as accommodating as I am?
