I just took delivery of a new ZTE 5G modem to replace my personally owned 4G device.
Having installed it, I notice a good signal on the modem (all three LEDs are lit) but the speed is a lot slower than my old 4G connection. Often I got between 60 and 100mbps on 4G, but on 5G I'm getting 60mbps as a maximum, but often as little as 8mbps.
I don't really want to pay more for less, so please can I cancel this "faster" service and go back to my old 4G package please.

Sorry to hear that you are considering canceling your new 5G Broadband plan. If you are within 30 days of receiving the device and you are unsatisfied with the service I would recommend contacting our customer care team on 1913 who can either advise on improving the connection or helping you to cancel the service.
