Public IP

The question has been asked a number of times and has been open at least a year (possibly more) based on the timestamps of other users.

When will Three allow users who request it, to obtain a non-RFC1918 IP address (ie a public address)?

It just states you are aware and working on it, but no updates or feedback.

What is the current status, by when will it be provided? And please update the post.

Hi, I tried to send you a PM but got a message saying I dind't have access.

I need to do a basic port forwarding on my modem spoke with an attendant on web chat who told me to call, I called and the other attendant sent me an email with instructions on how to setup a new APN on my modem but the port forwarding still not working. Would you be able to help?

Are you looking for a dynamic Public IP? Do you know what plan you are on? If you're not sure you'll find it on your dashboard in your My3 account. 

We are able to enable Public IPs on certain plans I listed them below let me know if you're on one of these plans.

3 Prepay Broadband
3Business Broadband Advanced
3Business Broadband Express
3Business MBB Ultimate

You'll need to increase your rank to send PMs. You can increase your rank by commenting on posts, creating new posts, & kudos/liking comments. Once you rank up you'll get a message to notify you & you'll need to log out & back into the Community & you'll be able to PM us directly.

They won't do it for 5G customers. It's weird coz the other plan is cheaper. If you don't care that much about download speed wait until your contract expires, get the cheaper plan and enjoy.
