Can't add Three as payment option

Hi, 

 

Three payment option not appearing when I log in via Android app nor gmail account.  Gmail account email address is the same as the email on my Three account.  My Three mobile number is the number on the gmail account.  Is there something else I need to do for it to appear?

 

I reviewed a number these but for the people you helped it doesn't seem like they did anything, did Three just enabled something so Google payments could occur?

It would have to be at least 3 weeks since you raise this with Google.  Can you not chase them?

@Add_40525 I understand your frustration, I do apologize it's taking longer than expected.

 

I haven't forgotten about you I'm regularly pushing for updates and resolution but as this is with a 3rd party I need to wait for them to get back to me with any update. As soon as I have any kind of update I'll let you know right away. 

 

Having the same issue here, 3Pay not showing up as a payment method option.

Can you let me know the specific steps that you're following and the make and model of your phone?

 

It would be great if you could grab screenshots of these steps, it'll help with the investigation. Also if you're not following the below steps can you please try them?

 

When you're in the Google Play store under the "Payments and subscriptions" select "Payment methods" page where you can add the 3Billing can you select 'More payment settings'? You'll be redirected to the Google Pay website, in the top-right corner you'll see your account icon, can you click on the icon & then if you have more than one email address make sure you have the correct one selected. You may only have one email address listed & if you do all you need to select is 'Manage your Google Account'.

You'll see at the top of the screen a side scroll bar with Home & Personal info, scroll the bar over until you see Payments & Subscriptions, in this section, you'll see payment methods & Manage Payment Methods. You should see 3Pay listed with an option to remove it. Can you remove the payment option & once that's done go back to the Play Store & try to add the 3Pay again. Let me know how you get on?

Hi @Add_40525 I've reached out to Google to get an update as soon as I get a response I'll let you know.

 

This has been going on for months. Unless you can fix it. I will be looking at shutting down my account. Please advise

I understand your frustration and have taken your feedback on board @Add_40525 However, the investigation is not being completed by our Technical Team but with Google. Once I receive further feedback on your investigation, I will update you immediately. 

I'm experiencing the same as the original poster. I guess I'm lucky this has only just happened to me today. 3pay doesn't appear to be a valid option anymore.

I'd love to get this looked into this, would you be willing to share with me the steps you're taking to add 3Pay, and any errors you are getting? If it is possible screenshots of your journey would be really helpful.
